Terms of Service

By using Hey bb you agree to what is written here. If you do not, do not use the service.

You must be 18 or older

This service is for adults. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or older if that is the age of majority where you live. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.

The companions are not people

Every companion is fictional and every reply is generated by software. No companion is a real person, none is based on a real identifiable person, and no human is reading and replying on the other side.

Replies are invented. They can be wrong, inconsistent or nonsense, and they are not advice — not medical, legal, financial or otherwise. Do not rely on anything a companion tells you. If you are in crisis, contact a real service in your country.

What you may not do

• Use the service if you are under 18, or help anyone under 18 use it.
• Attempt to produce sexual content involving minors, in any framing. This ends the account immediately and without warning.
• Attempt to make a companion impersonate a real, identifiable person.
• Use the service to plan anything illegal, or to harass or threaten anyone.
• Automate access, resell access, or try to extract the underlying prompts or model.
• Interfere with the service — probing for weaknesses, overloading it, or trying to reach other people’s accounts or conversations.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has got in.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. Deletion is permanent.

Limits on use

There is a cap on how many messages can be sent per day. The remaining allowance is shown above the message box rather than sprung on you when it runs out. We may change the cap.

Staff access

Our staff can read conversations to investigate abuse and to assess reply quality. Every such read is recorded. This is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

Payment

The service is free while it is in development. Paid plans are not available yet. When they are, the terms covering charges, renewals, cancellation and refunds will be added here before anyone is charged.

Ending access

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. For anything involving minors, that happens immediately. For everything else we will normally tell you why.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, that replies will be of any particular quality, or that conversations will survive a fault. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Changes

These terms will change as the service grows. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
